Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information DRAWSORT LLC ("DRAWSORT", "we", "us") collects when you use the DRAWSORT software at drawsort.com (the "Service"), how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

Account information — When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, organization, and authentication identifiers from our auth provider.

Uploaded content — When you use the Service, we collect the files you upload (engineering drawings) and any metadata they contain.

Extraction results — We store the metadata extracted from your uploads (drawing numbers, titles, equipment lists, schedules, etc.) so you can search and review it later.

Usage data — We log timestamps, request paths, and basic technical metadata (browser type, IP address) to operate and secure the Service.

Billing information — For paid accounts, payment information is collected by our processor (Stripe) and is not stored on DRAWSORT's servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

• Provide and operate the Service.
• Process and return extraction results to you.
• Authenticate you and protect your account.
• Bill you (for paid accounts).
• Communicate with you about service issues, updates, or your account.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it for marketing. We do not use your uploaded files to train artificial-intelligence models — neither our own nor any third party's.

3. Subprocessors

To run the Service, your data may pass through these third-party providers:

All providers are contractually bound to handle your data only as needed to provide their service.

4. Data Retention

• Pilot accounts: Uploaded content is retained for the duration of the pilot plus thirty (30) days, then deleted.
• Paid accounts: Uploaded content is retained as long as your account is active. After cancellation, we delete uploaded content within thirty (30) days unless you request otherwise.
• Account information and extraction metadata: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within thirty (30) days of account closure.
• Usage logs: Retained for ninety (90) days, then deleted or anonymized.

You can request earlier deletion at any time at kiellandbrown@drawsort.com.

5. Your Rights

Regardless of where you live, you can:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Delete your account and associated data.
• Export your extraction results (CSV/JSON, on request).

For users in regions with applicable laws (GDPR, CCPA), additional rights may apply, including the right to object to certain processing and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact kiellandbrown@drawsort.com to exercise any of these rights.

6. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data:

• Encryption in transit (HTTPS / TLS 1.2+).
• Encryption at rest for stored files (AWS S3) and database (AWS RDS).
• Per-organization data isolation; one customer cannot access another's data.
• Access to production systems is limited to authorized personnel.

No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you without undue delay.

7. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. International Users

DRAWSORT is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
